MUY PRONTO DESCARGA DEL MANGA COMPLETO!!! DE BERSERK

Al pasar la historia del manga al anime, no se pudo representar toda su complejidad. Además se suavizó y eliminó ciertas escenas de violencia, sangre y sexo. Incluso se excluyó el tomo 11 del manga (la liberación de Griffith y la lucha de Guts contra un Apostol). Por lo que el anime termina donde empieza el primer capítulo, luego de que Griffith acabe convertido en el 5º dedo de la Mano de Dios y se entregue a sus ambiciones, quedando escrita la profecía que Zodd vaticina a Guts en capítulos anteriores.

A pesar de los recurrentes rumores nacidos por el abrutpto e inconcluyente final de la serie de Anime, no está planeada una segunda temporada ni lo ha estado nunca.

También existe una especie de OVAs (capítulo especial ajeno a la serie generalmente hecho por la televisión sin tener que ver con la historia del manga en si), que consiste en un conjunto de openings y endings (canciones de entrada y salida de los capítulos) y con un "mini-resumen" de la serie.

En el último capítulo de la serie se observa a Guts salir de una pequeña cabaña (la misma vista en el capítulo 21), bueno, esto es realmente el inicio del manga como tal, habrá que expresar que el capítulo uno del anime también aparece en el manga pero faltan algunos personajes para no confundir más la historia, dado que en el anime no aparecen éstos.
